LEARNING PARTNER AND FACILITATION
I work with organizations on either a longer term basis to support a learning journey, or at critical moments to reflect and capture insights. I have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of groups and organizations, ranging from small grass-roots non-profits to international NGOs. What I love most is being able to support discussions that generate practical insights and enable strategic decision-making. I have 20 years of experience in this field, and I bring anti-hierarchical, consensus-based approach to working with groups of all sizes and backgrounds.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION SYSTEMS
I can help to set up monitoring and evaluation systems that are simple, yet effective. I work to understand the needs of your organization and will work closely with you to develop a system that is tailored to meet your requirements. I use my expertise to ensure that the data you collect will lead to actionable insights and help you make informed decisions.
MY EXPERIENCE
I'm an academically trained researcher in the Social Sciences, with an MA and PhD which gives me a nerdy interest in data quality and research design.
However I've also been involved in non-profits since I was a teen - whether as a service user, volunteer, worker or board member - so my focus is always on practical, actionable change. For the past 10 years I've worked in research and evaluation - managing, conducting and using research.

Some sample projects with published work include Trust for London's Racial Justice Audit, a project on Maternal Health in Sierra Leone, and a toolkit on using participatory methods to facilitate collaboration between universities and non-profits.

QUALITATIVE RESEARCH ASSISTANCE
As a highly trained qualitative researcher, my passion is to help others make sense of their research and data. I have clinical skills for working with populations with mental health needs or with experience of trauma. I bring a thoughtful and empathetic approach to the research process and appreciate the importance of honoring the experience of those being researched. I'm also well versed in qualitative and mixed methods research design and data collection techniques and can lend my expertise at any stage of a research project.
FEES
My rates depend on the project, and the size of the organisation applying. As a guide my standard day rate is £450

However I will offer discounts where capacity allows to grassroots organisations run by structurally disadvantaged groups - particularly Black-led organisations, Disabled Peoples organisations, and LGBT+ orgs so please get in touch to discuss.
